Planos, one of the most beautiful tourist resorts, sites 5 kilometres north-west of Zakynthos town, in a picturesque area girded with a great olive-grove, very close to seaside. Its local inhabitants are about 1000. Two lesser, secure though to fishing boats and touristic vessels, ports are located in central Planos; one located in Bouka beach, the other at Gaidaros foreland. A large variety of hotels, furnished apartments, rooms, villas can be found in the extent of the resort. |
